AGS Team and Coachella Water District

Coachella Valley / Indio, California Case study

The Thomas E. Levy Groundwater Replenishment Facility was dedicated on October 21, 2009. This project is a significant milestone in the district's ongoing effort to ensure that a reliable supply of groundwater will continue to be available, across the entire valley, now and for future generations. In 30 years, the groundwater level in the eastern Coachella Valley will be an estimated 25-105 feet higher than it would have been had CVWD not built this facility.
